Happy one year anniversary to Gar and Kramer! On this day June 30th 2007 it was written in the stars that we would go to Chinese Gardens for dinner and there Gar and Kramer would officially become BUDDIES! It was such a special day and will be remembered (only by me) for years to come. Congrats guys for making it this far. I know you really will be BUDDIES FOR LIFE!

This weekend is our town’s annual renaissance fair(e).  Everyone knows what this is: fat women with a waning grasp on reality go pretend their Elizabethan for a weekend.  I’m going to avoid the big issue that the Italians started the renaissance, and usually get no love at these things.  Instead let’s talk about the article that our wonderful local newspaper ran about the upcoming event.

Anyone who’s ever talked to me about classical music knows I can’t stand Mozart.  This song may be one of only a couple of exceptions.  I think it’s mostly because I’m pretty sure he wrote it to be a complete ass, and this fact is still obvious over 200 years later (unlike other examples of his disdain for singers and dancers, which are lost on most modern people due to a cultural gap).  If you don’t listen to at least past 2:30 you won’t know what I’m talking about.
