I don’t type that well.  Sure, I type FAST but it’s not terribly accurate.  If you were to remove the backspace key on my keyboard I’d … well I’d learn to hit left-arrow then delete.  But let’s pretend I can’t do that for the sake of this argument.  And I don’t have Ctrl-H or, well any of the control character toolset.  Ok let’s pretend that I live in a universe where backspace is the only way to delete text on a computer.  Now that we’ve defined the set of conditions for this supposition I can go on.  If I were in a universe where backspace was the only way to delete text AND I somehow had that key removed, my typing would look a lot more sloppy.  Sure I have segments of time where I’m rather error-free in typing.  Ok segments of words.  Ok maybe a word or two in a row.  The fact is I make typos a lot.  I’m not even gonna subject you to this hypothetical scenario because you wouldn’t even know what I was typing. (Note to self, find a ‘backspace hit x times’ plugin for this blog and make it auto-add at the end of every post).  My point is that one of the typos I make is holding the shift key down for too long.  One of the words I do this to a lot is the word Internet.

So from now on I’m making the declaration that INternet is the proper way to capitalize the word Internet.  That is, until such time as I start typing INTernet more than INternet.

I’ll keep you all updated as this story progresses.
