I am not a morning person.  This may not come as a surprise to many of you who know me and maybe have witnessed this fact firsthand.  Nobody knew this better when I was growing up than my mother.  My mother is a morning person.  In order to wake me up, she wouldn’t employ anything resembling subtlety, oh no.  She’d sing.  This song.  I take comfort in the fact that this woman’s story is so similar to mine.  It sounds like her mom only did it to embarrass her when she had friends over.  Mine sang it every morning simply to torment me.  However I feel less alone knowing that at least one other person went through what I did at least once or twice.

A few months ago this was on T.V.  I caught it somewhere in the middle, during one of the actual ’sessions’ while they were out being Darkons or whatever.  At first I thought it was an amazingly poorly edited fantasy movie.  Once I realized what I was watching, I couldn’t stop.  This is next on my list of DVDs to buy, and if you know me “IRL” you are probably going to be forced to watch it with me.  Fair warning.
