A La Mode

Like it? I made it myself! If you have no clue what the caption means then obviously you’ve never seen Twin Peaks. That’s what Kim, Aaron, Gar and I have been watching the past few months. That shit is scary. Apparently my grandpa used to watch it back in the day while my grandma would go to bible study…creepy. Anyway, Kim is totally in love with Agent Cooper, Aaron can’t stop singing James’ irritating song, Gar has a thing for Shelly who is always in a bathrobe with what looks like wet hair and Audrey is my favorite, she’s got those sweet saddle shoes! We’ve all become so possessed (pun intended) with this show that we’ve even visited some land marks since the show was filmed here in Washington state. Ironically those landmarks were visited separately, but on the same weekend and “on the way” to other functions. Gar and I visited my parents in Sumner while Kim and Aaron (and friends) went to see Weezer in Seattle. North Bend is the locale for the Double R diner (which is really Twede’s) and Snoqualmie Falls is where the Great Northern (Salish Lodge) is. Someday we will visit both locations together, have some cherry pie and actually go inside the lodge. If we could pool our money I’d love to stay there one night but we aren’t very good at actual “plans” so we’ll see… we took a few pics, though.
