Just a quick update to report back that after driving to work yesterday, then driving home in the dark and rain, I still love having the bus driver do all the driving for me.  This morning was much more preferable than yesterday, having taken the bus, and I’m looking forward to riding home instead of driving home.

Seriously, people.  You don’t know how much driving stresses you out till you stop doing it.

I got to thinking… with my 30th (gulp) birthday coming up next month, there should be something to show for all my years experience on this crazy planet. Valuable information that I have learned, that NEEDS to be passed on to the next generation. So what better way to do it then with a TOP TEN?!

I’ve started a new OSS project, it’s an XMPP client written in JavaScript that’s based on the Strophe library.

It’s called TrophyIM, and you can check out the google code page for it: http://code.google.com/p/trophyim/.

There’s a lot of work to do still, but I got to a point where it at least worked as a basic IM client, so I made a ‘pre-release’ (0.1) and am sending it out into the world.
