My dad occasionally sends me an E-mail showing me the lastest thing he’s doing out in his observatory.  I thought I’d share the latest with you.  Maybe I’ll do this more, cause they’re ususally pretty good pics.

This is what he had to say about it:

This is a rough first draft, but I was lucky to get
anything at all last night.  I was well into my SII
information and took a look at the sky to see
things were getting rough.  Rather than use the
OIII with certain failure due to limited time, I used
the lum = blue to get “something”.
Ha = red 600 seconds subs.
SII = green 600 seconds subs.
Lum = blue 100 seconds subs.

We went to the bowling alley this weekend and they had these nifty Winnie the Pooh ornaments in the vending machine for .50 cents each. We noticed the “Pooh yule log” and just KNEW we had to try our luck and get one, and finally we did! It was totally worth it too.
