Racial Tension

I had the chance to go see this at a screening in Richland.  It’s quite the work of dedication.  It’s the typical b-grade fan movie, and has everything you’d expect.  Even down to bad English accents (all fantasy settings have to have an English accent you know).

Yay Thanksgiving is tomorrow, and a month later it’s CHRISTMAS.

That means it’s not too early to start listening to CHRISTMAS MUSIC.  I’ve said it before and I still stand by this opinion: Mariah Carey’s Christmas album is the best secular album out there.

The best sacred album for Christmas is of course Handel’s Messiah.  It is also the best Easter album, and pretty much any time of the year album.  But it’s nice to listen to at Christmas too.

I hope everyone is getting as excited about the holidays as I am, and that they’ll get to visit all the family members they want to and bundle up by a fire and enjoy the season with loved ones.

Growing up, whenever we were eating pizza my mom used to say “ooga booga pizza.”  We asked her what that was from and she couldn’t really remember, she thought it was an ad for some pizza company that ran when she was a kid.
